Aspen Seemann passed away on June 22, 2016, from a drowning accident. He was our everything, and our angel. We have started a foundation to honor Aspen's memory. The Aspen Drake Seemann Foundation will focus on initiatives that will benefit organizations and families in the Omaha Metro area who need it most.

Our website offers merchandise for sale and all proceeds will go directly to the foundation to support initiatives which will ultimately benefit individuals in the Omaha Metro area who are suffering from a tragedy, loss or personal illness.

“Aspen’s Angels” will directly aid local area first responders and hospitals and medical centers to benefit children and families who are dealing with a tragedy, loss or personal illness. We held our 3rd annual stuffed animal and doll drive and in 2019, we collected over 4,500 stuffed animals to be distributed to help comfort those suffering in our community.

The Aspen & Alley Project is a collaboration between the Omaha Fire Department (OFD) and the Aspen Drake Seemann Foundation (ADSF). Alley, is a yellow Lab was introduced in August, 2016, as the newest member of the OFD. Alley aids firefighters in detecting arson. We will soon introduce Aspen, a water rescue dog that will help first responders in water rescues and help find people who may be lost. We conduct water safety courses throughout the year to include free CPR classes to anyone interested.
